Guam - A special ceremony was held this afternoon at Adelup to recognize three newly-promoted officers. Sergeant Mike Archangel, Sergeant Mark Torre and Officer Ron Barcinas were officially promoted to the rank of police lieutenants this afternoon during a pinning ceremony with their family in attendance.

The police department said the funding for the three new positions came from money in the previous fiscal year budget. The new lieutenants will be assigned to the Chief's Office, Operations Section and Legal Division.
