Island's top Young Professional to be selected

Guam - The Guam Young Professionals organization is celebrating its first year an official committee of the Guam Chamber of Commerce. The committee is made up of individuals between the ages of 21 and 40. GYP is currently seeking nominations for the first-ever Guam Young Professional of the Year.

A selection committee made up of members of the chamber will review all nominations.

Criteria for the GYP of the year are:

  • Nominee must be a GYP member (21 to 40 Years of Age)
  • An individual must be nominated by an employer or person known to them. An official nomination form must also be completed and submitted to the Guam Chamber of Commerce by January 5, 2011
  • Nominee must be in good standing with the GYP and the Guam Chamber of Commerce

The Guam Young Professional of the Year will be recognized with a special award during an event on January 14. For more information, you can contact the Guam Chamber of Commerce at 472-6311.
