Guam - The students in University of Guam professor Teofilo Cruz's Community Health class gave their final presentations this morning as part of a community health assessment they conducted throughout the villages of Talofofo, Harmon and Yona. According to Cruz, the students looked at infrastructure, housing conditions, education and healthcare in the various communities.

"The interesting part is to know that in some areas they really do not have schools, so students are having to go to different districts to go to schools its very neat because we find out the make up of the population even the religious component of the group - what they are and also the accessibility of where do they go for their healthcare some areas don't have accessibility to healthcare," said Cruz.

The students also discussed addressing the various issues that were raised from a nursing standpoint.
