Guam - Christmas came a little early for Department of Corrections officers who have been waiting for months for any overtime that they've worked and not been paid. Today $400,000 worth of overtime, approximately three pay periods, was paid out to officers. The Department of Administration released the checks today.
The money came from the State Criminal Alliance Assistance Program Federal Grant. DepCor officials are working on identifying available money to pay the remaining pay periods of OT owed to the officers.
