Guam - Increased construction and employment related to increased visitor arrivals contributed to a 3.5 percent increase in jobs on the island in the last year. According to the September 2010 Employment Report, jobs on Guam increased by more than 2,000.
Private and public sector and federal jobs all saw increases as did the Government of Guam, which saw 390 more jobs than the previous year. The GovGuam job boost was attributed to temporary jobs made available through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
