Guam - The ribbon was cut this morning signifying the completion of the construction of the Guam Community College's new Learning Resource Center. The new 22,000-square foot facility is the first Government of Guam building to be LEED certified.

The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design building features digital temperature controls and air quality monitors, energy efficient lighting and windows and furniture made of recyclable materials. GCC students will be able to utilize the LRC's new reading area collection section, computer work areas, computer lab and group meeting rooms.
