Demerol among painkillers in GMH shipment

Guam - The Guam Memorial Hospital has received an order of Demerol today after being out of the medication for the weekend. Local physician Dr. Vince Akimoto voiced concerns about the hospital's inability to inform the community about the shortage.

But according to agency spokesperson Connor Murphy, they also received some morphine and Fentanyl, which are two other narcotic painkillers. The shortage was due to concerns from the supplier rather than from the lack of funding.
