Guam - The Salvation Army fed hundreds of Guam's homeless and needy today during their annual Thanksgiving feast at the Chamorro Village. Dozens of volunteers spent some time today serving up the delicious meals in the spirit of giving.
"It's the holidays," said Vette Camacho, one such volunteer. "It's really great to come out here and see all the people come out and volunteer and to help the community."
The Salvation Army says this year's feast was a success thanks to the generosity of the island community and local businesses. Several hundred bags of canned goods and rice were also distributed to needy families today.
