Guam - After meeting with new Joint Guam Program Office director Joe Ludovici, Military Buildup Committee chairperson Senator Judi Guthertz is impressed by his willingness to reconsider land acquisition for buildup projects. Guthertz says instead of acquiring hundreds of acres of land for the construction of homes in the former Federal Aviation Administration housing area, there are alternatives such as building multi-story housing units.

She believes that Ludovici's colleagues had not been sharing some of the many documents and counterproposals to the buildup plans that she drafted and sent to JGPO.  The Democrat has now sent 39 documents to Washington, DC for Ludovici's review.
