Guam - Joint Guam Program Office director Joe Ludovici is making his rounds to introduce himself and get to know island leaders. He met with Governor-elect Eddie Calvo on Wednesday morning, saying JGPO wants to develop a strong relationship with the island's new governor and the people of Guam.

Assistant Secretary Jackalyne Pfannenstiel is expected to make a visit to Calvo in the near future as Ludovici told the governor-elect that "the decisionmakers will be brought to you".

Meanwhile, Ludovici is scheduled to meet with members of the 30th Guam Legislature.  Acting speaker and Military Buildup chairperson Senator Judi Guthertz will lead the meeting this afternoon as lawmakers express their concerns with the military buildup with the new JGPO director today.
