Guam - Recognized for his longstanding commitment to education and efforts to increase access to education for Asian and Pacific Islander American students, University of Guam President Dr. Robert Underwood received the Higher Education Award in New York this week.  Underwood helped launch the Asian and Pacific Island Scholarship back in 2003 with the help of some corporate sponsors turning it into a multimillion-dollar operation.
