Guam - Friends of U.S. Army Private First Class Jaysine Petree are joining the the faculty and students at Simon Sanchez High School tomorrow to remember their fallen hero. Petree died after the vehicle she was in came into contact with an improvised explosive device in Afghanistan.

The 19-year-old was stationed in Alaska and was a 2009 graduate from Sanchez High.

"We've been friends with Jen since 7th grade, so we've been through a lot," said Dante Dodd.  "She's a really caring person."  Valerie Santos added, "She's like the living embodiment of what a best friend is - everybody uses that term lightly, but honestly, Jen is like the best friend anybody could ever have and I wish everybody could have their own Jen."

A special ceremony honoring Jaysine will begin at 10 tomorrow morning at the Yigo campus.
