Guam - We Are Guahan continues their outspoken efforts in bringing attention to the group's agenda.  Member Melvin Won Pat-Borja says they are planning a "ROD Rally" but this time the acronym (normally "Record of Decision") stands for "Realizing Our Destiny."  He says they decided to organize the event following public outrage over the Record of Decision, notably over how the document did not differ much from the Draft or Final Environmental Impact Statements.

He says they are inviting politicians and political candidates to attend, telling KUAM News, "This is a great opportunity for they public to really see which of our candidates are paying attention to the issues are really listening to our sentiment about this buildup and about the Record of Decision and how things are going to go down.  So this is our way of holding their feet to the fire and holding them accountable and send a strong message to our leaders that this should be government for and by the people."

The rally is scheduled for this Friday from 4:30-7:30pm on the front lawn of Adelup. Organizations, schools and candidates are invited to bring a canopy and table to the event. Go to WeAreGuahan.com for more information on how to reserve a space.
