Guam - Guam Homeland Security and the Office of Civil Defense hosted the 7th Annual National Preparedness Month Grand Finale today at the Agana Shopping Center. This year's theme is "Plan Now. Work Together. Be Ready.", and calls for residents to take a proactive approach and commit to being ready now.

All first and emergency responders were given the opportunity to showcase specialized equipment and vehicles and to provide tips and educational information for natural disasters. The event included live demonstrations from the Guam Police Department and the 2nd Annual Community Emergency Response Team Rodeo.
