by Sabrina Salas Matanane

Guam - This Sunday, island residents will have the opportunity to attend a special book signing of "Madeleine: A Tribute in Photographs with Congresswoman Madeleine Bordallo" from 2-4pm at BestSeller in the Guam Premiere Outlets.  A portion of the proceeds from each book sold at the event will go towards the Edward M. Calvo Cancer Foundation.

Founded in 2004 as a tribute to the life and legacy of the Congresswomen's dear friend Eddie M. Calvo, the foundation provides assistance to those in our local community suffering from cancer. "Madeleine: A Tribute in Photographs" highlights Bordallo's life's work and contributions to the People of Guam, as well as her iconic beauty and style.

The Foundation, also rooted in the local community has assisted close to 1000 people since its inception and is sustained solely by the support of generous donors like the publishers of this unique book.  For more information on the book signing, please call Kathleen Phillips Aguon at 727-EREN.
