Guam - A Department of Youth Affairs guard faces a slew of criminal charges. 33-year old Sandra Ann Mesa is accused of befriending two female DY clients by providing them tobacco products and mobile phone privileges. She reportedly even went so far as giving one of the girls a shackle key so she could escape from the facility.
After these two girls were released from custody, Mesa is accused of making contact with them and coordinating a burglary of three homes and the attempted robbery of a fourth.
These two female minors are now back at DYA, while Mesa was booked and confined facing charges of burglary, attempted burglary, conspiracy to commit robbery, criminal facilitation, official misconduct, jurisdiction over an adult, promoting prison contraband and providing escape elements.
