Guam - The Department of Administration cut the check for the Guam Fire Department's trash services. Trash was overflowing at the village stations, as GFD was more than $6,000 behind in trash services.
Public Safety Oversight Chairperson Senator Adolpho Palacios sent a letter to DOA, urging that they pay the vendor Guahan Waste for services rendered. Palacios says he was told by the company today that they would only resume services at GFD once they receive the funds from DOA.
