Mobil tough on the glass, but falls to Continental

Guam - Continental and Mobil laced up for their Shirley's Basketball League game at the Tamuning Gym. Max Taylor skied for a rebound, off the missed shot attempt by Brian Jackson, who went up for 2 points.

Mobil's Davis Marguerra dished the ball off to Patrick Rosario, who dribbled past a defender, pump faked and took the shot from the baseline for a score. Continental slipped past Mobil 47-42 for the win. Joel Balbastro led the way with 12 points. Mobil's Patrick Rosario put up 23 in the loss.

In other scores Sea Grill beat out Citibank 48-35 Julius Yu led all scorers in the win with 20 points, Seatiel DelaCruz put up 12 in the loss for Citibank. Marriott got the win over Take Care 45-42, Radly Raymond scored 11, Baldwin Quibuyen had 16 for TakeCare in his teams losing effort.
