San Miguel hoops league tips off

Guam - In basketball news, the 2010 San Miguel Basketball League will tip-off on September 19th and will run through November 19th at the Yigo Gym. Tropical Productions in conjunction with San Miguel will host their second season of competition with the help of 76/Circle K and Marianas CableVision. Games will be played every Saturday and Sunday in both the open and Masters Division. Registration for non-sponsored teams is $800 and $1,000 for sponsored teams.

Entry forms can be picked up at all 76 Circle K locations with deadline for registration set for September 17. For more information on the league contact league organizer Joe McDonald at 635-5891, commissioner Ron Carvajal at 687-9960, Alfred Flores at 688-3167 or team coordinator Sonny Cortez at 687-0363.
