Guam - Here's a frightening situation: the Guam Fire Department only has three ambulances operating to service the entire island. GFD Acting Spokesperson Captain Ed Flores says the medics currently running are stationed in Agat, Inarajan and Barrigada.
He says they are working to bring at least two more units back on line by the end of today. Part of the problem is the delay in fully implementing the ambulance service fees to help pay for repairs. Flores says they are working with the Wisconsin-based Life Quest to have the payment system complete by the end of September.
