Guam - Instructors with Forensics Quality Services out of Tampa, Florida were island last week training our men and women in blue.  The Guam Police Department was receiving training on the International Organization for Standardization and the International Electro-Technical Commission's worldwide standards for the agency's Forensics Science Division.

The workshop provides the basics GPD needs to achieve an internationally recognized accreditation as well access to a field of experienced instructors and resources. "This accreditation standard is recognized around the world and what laboratories strive for by achieving this there's high confidence level that the laboratory is doing excellent quality work," said Terry Mills with FQS.

The three-day workshop ended last Friday.
