Guam - Six people were caught red-handed by police this afternoon trying to steal thousands of dollars worth of steel and aluminum.  Tumon-Tamuning Precinct officers responded to the Cruz Equipment Yard on Adrian Sanchez Street this afternoon after receiving a tip about suspicious activity.

Officers arrived and surrounded the fence area and apprehended Samuel Osalas, Ediner Edward, Jano Abraham, Robert Seaman, Lorens Ehmes and Lorin Ehmes.  Authorities were able to recover a roll of steel cable valued at $10,000 and a 20' aluminum bar the men attempted to take.  The six were charged with theft of property, conspiracy to commit theft, criminal mischief and criminal trespass.
