Guam - The Department of Agriculture's Division of Aquatic and Wildlife Resources arrested for allegedly illegally hunting near the Route 3a area. 26-year-old Jesse Toves, Jr. was charged with protection of wild animals, use of artificial lights, hunting license required, resisting arrest and possession of a firearm without a firearms ID card.

Preliminary reports show that Toves led conservation officers on a highspeed chase towards the Andersen Sir Force Base main gate in Yigo. Officers were able to recover a shotgun and a deer carcass, while Toves fled the scene on foot. Further investigation later led his arrest, and additional arrests are pending.
