Guam - The Guam Election Commission is just about done verifying the petitions submitted by potential candidates in the various elections that will be held in the September primary election for Decision 2010.  In the senatorial race there are at least 20 candidates each running under both parties.

As for the gubernatorial race, Carl Gutierrez and Frank Aguon, Jr. are running unopposed on the Democratic tickets while Eddie Calvo and Ray Tenorio will go head-to-head against Mike Cruz and Jim Espaldon on the Republican ticket.  There are also three candidates running for attorney general - Lenny Rapadas, Gary Gumataotao and William Bischoff.

The GEC will meet next Wednesday to certify the official list of candidates.
