Guam - The Public Safety Committee will also hold a public hearing this week for Bill 417, the Amended Safe Streets Act. The legislation seeks to make Guam's streets safer by lowering the legal blood alcohol level for motor vehicle operators from the current .08% to .05%.
Lawmakers are also set to hear public comment on Bill 418, which would amend current law relating to the composition of the Territorial Parole Board.
The public hearing is scheduled for this Thursday at 9 in the morning at the Legislature's Public Hearing Room.
