Matrix Design Group back on Guam

Guam - The Government of Guam's consultant for the military buildup, Matrix Design Group, is on island this week. The team met with health officials at the Governor's Office to discuss and develop plans for the island's five-year Health and Social Services Strategic Plan. The plan details the needs and the goals to better the community's health services with before the relocation of U.S. Marines from Okinawa to Guam occurs.

Matrix Vice-President Celeste Werner says they are also working out the details on a public opinion survey for all social, health and medical issues on Guam.  "We're here as consultants, just to help to create," she said.  "And it's really the people's plan and I can't stress that more than, it's just constantly the importance of the buy in of everybody."

Werner adds that the team will be making more trips to the island to discuss the strategic plan.
