Other inmates suspected for prison murder

by Nick Delgado

Guam - Concerns have been raised about a murder investigation that happened last month at the Department of Corrections. While agency director J.B. Palacios stated that inmate Steven Albertson confessed to the murder of Arlen Feranco, more and more concern is being raised about inmate Vince Palomo and others being responsible for the murder.

Sources have confirmed with KUAM News that the incident happened inside inmate Palomo's cell. However, earlier this week Palacios said that the investigation has not shown that others were involved just yet, saying, "Yesterday it was Steven Albertson that appeared for a magistrate and nobody else, so I base that statement on that.  As far as what you're being told, that is unsubstantiated rumors."

In the meantime, Albertson is scheduled to find out when he will go to trial on July 9.
