Suba plans to return to GPD as captain

by Nick Delgado

Guam - Just a few days before his retirement from the Government of Guam was to be official, former police chief Paul Suba confirms he intends to return to the force to his previous position as a captain.  Suba told KUAM News he met with Governor Felix Camacho about his plans to return to the force but says there's been no official decision from the Administration about whether he will in fact return to the force.

Suba says if he is allowed to come back as a captain, he hopes to finish the department's plans for a new headquarters.  Meanwhile, the former top brass says he still wants to meet with the lieutenant governor to discuss his possible return, since Mike Cruz sought his retirement, saying if he didn't he would have fired Suba.
