Guam - District Court Judge Consuelo Marshall will meet with the federal management team next Tuesday. The team recently submitted a plan of action to the court on how they intend to help the Government of Guam come into compliance with an amended permanent injunction. Their plan is estimated to cost the government $25 million and will include the construction of the center - a one-stop location for the treatment and evaluation of individuals with disabilities.
In the meantime, the Department of Mental Health submitted a monthly report to the court on the status of vendor payments. The department owes more than $547,000 to Catholic Social Service, another $480,000 to Latte Treatment Center, and $235,000 to the Oasis Empowerment Center, to name a few.
