Guam - The Guam Police Department has released the identity of the island's ninth traffic-related fatality of the year. 83-year-old Dolores Quilbat died from injuries she sustained in a two-car collision that occurred on Tuesday morning on University Drive in Mangilao. Quilbat was riding in the back of a 2005 Ford Focus.
The other three passengers in the car, all of whom were elderly, were also taken to the Guam Memorial Hospital for injuries they sustained in the collision. GPD's Highway Patrol Division is investigating the crash and has not made any arrests or issued any citations, as they are still trying to piece together the events of the crash.
