Woman, boys caught after running from police

by Nick Delgado

Guam - Dededo Precinct officers arrested one adult and two male minors early this morning after they led them on a chase through the Machanaonao area of Dededo.  Officers tried to pull over a vehicle that was being driven without its lights on, but the operator led them on a chase and lost control - crashing the vehicle and causing it to flip over.

A 12-year-old was taken into custody and the other occupants fled the vehicle.  Through their investigation police learned there were six people in the car that was determined to be stolen. The six broke into a home and stole the car while the residents were sleeping.  19-year-old Jetleen Atanasio Peter was arrested on numerous charges to include theft of a motor vehicle, conspiracy, eluding a police officer, reckless driving and jurisdiction over an adult.

Two boys, ages 12 and 14 were turned over to the Juvenile Investigations Section.
