Guam - The Moylan's ODC Braves made it a clean sweep in this year's BBL baseball championship series against the AK Islanders after winning last night's ball game 12-6. The Braves used a high-powered offense to win their 2nd consecutive BBL title behind a defense who came to play, pulling off a triple play in the 1st inning.

Leading 1-0 the Braves opened the floodgates when Thomas Sarmiento got things started with a sacrifice fly that brought home J.T. Tuquero from 3rd.  Rico Castro followed up with a 2-run double to give the defending champs a 4-0 lead. Glen Fernandez's 3-run shot over the left field wall put the Braves up 7-0.

The Braves finished the regular season with a 10-2 record and capped off their season in fashion last night giving their fans something to cheer about. J.P. Aguon started on the mound for the Braves with 1 strikeout and was later relieved by Jerome Andrews who picked up the win. T.J. Sarmiento went 1-2 at the plate with 2 RBI, Castro was 2-4 with 4 RBI, Fernandez finished 1-3 with his 3-run homerun.
