Guam - Guam Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lorilee Crisostomo will be in the hot seat today as she's scheduled to appear before senators during an oversight hearing this afternoon. Senator Rory Respicio (D) called for the hearing after a federal report detailed alleged financial mismanagement at the agency.
Crisostomo, however, argues the report was inaccurate.
Respicio also intends to get details about the illegal dump fire that's been burning for more than a week in Yigo, as the EPA cited the private landowner but never pursued actions to have the dump removed. He also wants to know more about complaints lodged against a company that allegedly dumped sewage in the Nimitz Hill area.
He was apparently drunk when he molested two women. 26-year-old Kino Keeler allegedly digitally penetrated a woman and raped her in a Tumon condo last year. According to court documents, she woke up to Keeler on top of her.More >>
An indictment has been handed down against those accused in the murder of detainee Edrite ‘Manson’ Isar. Detainees A-Last Simiron, Albert Santos II, Benster Benjamin, Isler Miller, Jimmy Hadley, and Marvin Rechim were indicted on charges of murder, manslaughter, and aggravated assault. Detainee Andrew Rios Jr. is charged with first degree criminal sexual conduct. It was last December, Isar was found dead after being brutally beaten inside the Hagatna Detention Facility. ...More >>
