Guam - Police officer trainee and former spokesperson John Edwards, whose employment with the Guam Police Department has been the source of controversy, spent less than a few hours at the Dededo Precinct on Tuesday.  KUAM News has confirmed Edwards, who was transferred out to patrol for on-the-job training, has now returned to the Training and Staff Division.

According to GPD Spokesperson Officer A.J. Balajadia, Edwards was pulled back from patrol so that he can utilize programs for learning report writing and crash reports.  Balajadia added that management at the agency wants to ensure Edwards has the proper tools and ability to perform as a police officer trainee when assigned to on the job training out on patrol.
