Guam - Filipino construction workers looking to find work on Guam in light of the military buildup would have a wait a little longer. According to the Manila Bulletin, it could take a year for the workers to determine if they can still be deployed to work on Guam.

According to the article, because Japan and the United States have prolonged discussions, this means there will be no deployment this year until both countries come to an agreement. Aside from construction workers, the Philippines may look at also sending health care professionals such as nurses and therapists to help with the massive buildup.
