GWA, EPA give grants for wastewater hookups

Guam - The Guam Waterworks Authority in cooperation with the Guam Environmental Protection Agency will be issuing out approximately $70,000 in grant monies to residents who are currently required to connect to GWA's wastewater collection system. According to the utility agency, criteria include homes over the northern aquifer or adjacent to the surface water source for a loan amount up to $9,000 per applicant with a fixed low-interest rate throughout the loan, which is for 10 years.
