H2O limited to Dededo, Yigo, Barrigada Heights

by Nick Delgado

Guam - The Guam Waterworks Authority announces water conservation for all customers from Micronesia Mall to Andersen Air Force Base and Lower Barrigada Heights.  "This is due to one of our largest wells servicing the tanks in Yigo going down on [May 1]", said Heidi Ballendorf spokesperson for GWA.  "Between our fragile situation down south last week we have not been able to keep water levels where we like them to be."

She added, "Right now no one is out of water in the affected areas but because the situation is delicate we are calling for water conservation in the northern villages from the Mall to AAFB's front gate and Lower Barrigada Heights through the end of the week".
