Guam - Lieutenant Governor Mike Cruz and Senator Jim Espaldon will officially announce their gubernatorial campaign on Tuesday. On an invitation via Facebook, the republican pair stated, "It's the beginning...", as they invite the public to their headquarters in Anigua next to Flamingo's Restaurant for their announcement.

The event is scheduled for 11:30am to 2:30pm. Cruz and Espaldon will be the second Republican group to announce their candidacy for the gubernatorial race in Decision 2010, running against GOP senators Eddie Calvo and Ray Tenorio.

On the Democrat side of the ticket, democrats former governor Carl Gutierrez and Senator Frank Aguon Jr. have previously announced their own intentions to run.
