by Mindy Aguon

Guam - Two Department of Youth Affairs clients who escaped from the Mangilao facility on Thursday afternoon have been apprehended.  An 18-year-old boy was apprehended in Maite just after 6pm Friday by members of the Guam Police Department's Juvenile Investigation Section and the Department of Corrections Special Operations Response Team.

DYA officials say a 16-year-old male who also escaped was found in the village of Sinajana shortly thereafter by JIS agents and SORT officers. An investigation is underway into how the two escaped from the correctional facility.

The escape is the third incident in the last two months.
