Planning sessions discuss Tumon, Piti activities

by Sabrina Salas Matanane

Guam - The Department of Agriculture's Division of Aquatic and Wildlife Resources will hold planning sessions as they attempt to determine what types of activities should be allowed in the Tumon Bay and Piti Bomb Holes marine preserves. The department is seeking all past and present users of the Tumon and Piti bays, including tour operators, paddlers, jet ski operators, divers, snorkelers, fishers and the public to attend.

The limits of acceptable change planning sessions will be held on April 27 at the Hagatna Community Center to discuss the Piti Bomb Hole Preserve, while another session will be held on the 29th at the Tamuning Community Center for the Tumon Preserve.

Both sessions are from 6-8 in the evening.
