Guam - Make sure to do your part and support our island's youth.  Saturday night the Sinanganta Outreach and the Hurao Academy present "The Chosen Ones: Island Grand Slam Finals" at the Tiyan GATE theatre.  The show will feature the top 12 youth poets of the year to decide who represents Guam in the 13th Annual Brave New Voices International Youth Poetry Slam Festival in Los Angeles.

This will be the first time that Guam will compete internationally.

Doors open at 6pm, with the show starting at 7pm. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults.  All proceeds will go toward getting the team to the mainland to compete.  And make sure you get there early, because tickets WILL sell out fast.
