Tourist involved in Tumon near-drowning

Guam - The Guam Fire Department was called to a near-drowning in Tumon just after 5pm Thursday.  GFD Spokesperson Joey San Nicolas says a female tourist, believed to be between 25-30 years old, was pulled from the waters behind the Marriott Hotel. 

She was reportedly unconscious but breathing. 

Medics transported the woman to the Guam Memorial Hospital in Tamuning for further treatment.
