Guam - Moving through the island's court system will be Maeda Pacific Corporation's case against the Guam Housing Corporation. It was six years ago Maeda filed suit to force GHC to pay the $10,000,000 it says it was never paid for laying the foundation and infrastructure for the Lada Estates Affordable Housing subdivision.
Just last year the government, along with Maeda, was working on resolving the situation with an ultimate goal of creating a win-win situation for all parties involved.
Today's further proceedings hearing is being held before Superior Court Judge Steven Unpingco.
