Guam - Although they haven't made their official announcement, Lieutenant Governor Mike Cruz's chief of staff, Carlotta Leon Guerrero, confirms Senator Jim Espaldon will be her boss' running mate in the upcoming election season. Leon Guerrero added that she expects to receive the keys later today for the office building they are leasing for their campaign headquarters, located in Anigua.

Espaldon is currently serving his second term in the 30th Guam Legislature. The republican duo will square off in the primary in September against senators Eddie Calvo and Ray Tenorio.

Meanwhile, no other democrat team, at least not yet, has announced they will run against former governor Carl Gutierrez and Senator Frank Aguon, Jr.
