Guam - Governor Felix Camacho and CNMI Governor Benigno Fitial will give the welcoming remarks at the "Hita I Marianas" conference next month in California. The event hopes to educate business men and woman, and young professionals on how the military buildup will create $20 billion in U.S. federal, Department of Defense, Government of Japan, and local government construction and service contracts for the region over the next five to ten years.

It will also include information on how the public sector is preparing as well as how the real estate market will be impacted. The conference is scheduled for May 24-26 at the Omni Hotel in San Diego.
