Painter captures beauty of Marianas Trench

Guam - An art exhibit will be held by local artist Mark Dell'Isola for his paintings: "Marianas Trench 2009-2010" at the Hyatt Regency Guam Shopping Arcade from April 9-30, 2010.  Gallery hours will be 12-6pm daily.

Dell'Isola is a local artist painting in the Pacific Region for over 25 years. His recent work is a conceptual abstract interpretation of the Marianas Trench. These painting were done in studios locally and at a small traditional fishing village on the west coast of Japan.  He recently exhibited at the Deborah Colton Gallery in Houston, Texas and at the Shrine town of Isumo Taisha in Japan in the summer of 2009.

He has work in permanent collections at the Smithonian Institution, in Washington, D.C., the Belau National Museum and the A.B. Won Pat Guam International Airport.
