Guam - A tax clinic was offered to the island's senior citizens today at the Korean Senior Citizens Center.  JKS Services Principal consultant Joe Song says his business along with the Bank of Guam, the University of Guam, Rev & Tax, and the Association of Government Accountants provides assistance for senior citizens that are unaware that they need to file their taxes once every year.

He told KUAM News, "They are eligible to file taxes on an annual basis, and as a result there maybe benefits associated with filing taxes each year. For example, over the past couple of years there's been various laws passed for one-time benefits, and those only apply to those who either file their taxes or have some form of providing notice to the government that they are there."

Remember, the last day to file your taxes is April 15.
