Guam - The Department of Corrections is gearing up for another conference call with the U.S. Department of Justice this week. At that time, DepCor is looking forward to introducing its new clinical administrator, Dr. Andrea Leitheiser, whose employment was ordered by the court. Leitheiser says she has been reviewing policies and procedures for the past few weeks, and will get more direction after their discussion with the feds.

"To provide access for Mental Health and medical care for the detainees, and that's were we will focus first. With the directors permission they currently do have a policy that employees can be seen by the mental health professional or medical professionals with his approval," she said.

The conference call with USDOJ is scheduled for Wednesday.
