Guam - The Guam Preservation Trust hosted Guam History Day today at the Agana Shopping Center. Students from all over the island applied the skills of a historian as they conducted research for projects they hoped will take them all the way to the National History Day Competition in June.
This year's theme is "Innovation in History: Impact and Change" and students were asked to examine how these subjects have shaped the course of history. Most of the students began preparing for the competition since September. Over 200 students have registered close to 100 entries in the competition.
