Guam - Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Explosives Resident Agent-in-Charge George Maston spoke before the Rotary Club of Tumon Bay Tuesday. Maston's presentation touched on the trends of violent crimes and what the ATF is doing to address them on Guam and in the CNMI.

He adds that the ATF is addressing the possible victimization of H-2 workers and military personnel anticipated in the coming years.

"Anytime that you have a change in the demographic of a community, particularly in a small community of this size, we have to be concerned about the potential of increased violent crime against military personnel or against people who would come to work in the community or by military personnel working in the community," Matson said.
